Douglas MacArthur was a U.S military general who served his country by fighting bravely in the Korean war. He also developed the tactic of island-hop while he and his troops were in Philippines fighting against Japanese. Since he is part of the U.S. ideals he is an anti-communist man.

Joseph Stalin was the dictator of the Soviet Union. He wanted to expand his communism and dragged the world's attention when he made a pact with German leader Hitler in WWII. After he was betrayed by Hitler he joined the allies to defeat the Nazis. After victory tension arose between his nation and the U.S. which led to the Cold war.
Fidel Castro
Fidel Castro is the communist Cuban dictator. His communism was influenced by Joseph Stalin. Stalin and Castro shared an intimate friendship since they were both against the U.S. Whenever Cuba needed help they would turn to the USSR. That's how the missiles case went on.
John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of the U.S. and he was anti-communist. That's why he fought against the USSR in the Cold War. He would never let communism spread any more. When the missiles in Cuba were a threat to the U. S, he bravely managed to get rid of them so the problem wouldn't grow larger and there wouldn't have to be a nuclear war.
